Comprehensive analysis toolkit for California child care data from the Resource & Referral Network spanning 1996 to 2023. Covers licensed supply, cost of care, income, labor force, and demand across all 58 counties.
Automated pipeline that extracts data from county-level child care portfolio PDFs, normalizes it into clean longitudinal datasets, and generates an interactive dashboard for exploring trends and comparisons.
Automated system for downloading, organizing, and analyzing meeting documents from the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood. Extracts metadata, deduplicates files, and enables intelligent querying across the full archive.
Chrome extension built for R&R staff who work daily inside the MyChildCarePlan system. Started as a URL decoder — pasting a long MCCP link to quickly identify which agency, provider, or parent record it pointed to. Evolved into a workflow engine: one-click email lookups across Intercom and WordPress, automated Intercom tagging, parent record search by city name, provider UUID lookups, and a reference copier for parent landing pages. Built because the tools staff use every day weren't designed to talk to each other — so I made something that sits in between and closes the gaps.
Prototype for a redesigned homepage for California's statewide child care search platform. Features a dual-pathway design letting families either search independently or connect with an expert for guided help.
Command-line tool for analyzing 5-ball juggling rhythm through real-time microphone audio analysis. Detects catches, tracks timing consistency, and provides session-over-session statistics.
Free one-on-one and small group tech consultations for Chinese-speaking family child care providers. Sessions cover website building (Google Sites), domain registration, online advertising, licensing navigation, business setup, and digital presence — all in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Parallel Chinese-language sessions organized alongside statewide CA Minor Renovation & Repair Grant workshops. Covered SAM registration, bid requirements, application walkthroughs, and budget templates — making $75K grant opportunities accessible to providers who would otherwise be excluded by language.
